Introduction

I am a reluctant blogger. But now find the field of expression narrowing to almost zero. They say the world changed after 9/11, and it did for me. I was skeptical from day one and this led to a lot of posting on US political forums on google. These forums were saturated with "trolls" and most likely government trouble makers.

I later became active on the BBC Radio 4 Today Programme forums, this led to pre-moderation, censorship and open threats of harm. The Today message boards became a totally pre-moderated forum where you had to pre-submit topic suggestions and comments. Not long after this the forums were closed down. In effect, they died. I tried to get involved on the BBC Radio 5 Live forums, but I was soon banned from all BBC online activity. I don`t believe I broke BBC rules, apart from responding to the abuse directed at me. These abusers were never censored...government employees?

I also used to post on bilderberg.org and propagandamatrix.com forums. On Bilderberg, my posts used to vanish and this led to my belief that some, if not most of the sites moderators had agenders beyond their remit, this led to my leaving. Propagandamatrix became dull and there were also spoilers at work. I have spent the last few years posting on the Newstatesman website. I was a long standing subscriber to the Newstatesman magazine. But once again, my comments were censored, or I was blocked from commenting on particular articles. Now I have been blocked completely. Ben Davis the website editor failed to respond to emails and the Newstatesman editor Jason Cowley, said he would look into my problems with the site, so far I`ve heard nothing, so I have cancelled my subscription.

There is an agenda, if its in the MSM (main-stream media), they want YOU to know about IT and "they" don`t want this designed agenda to be expanded or threatened by anyone. The internet is awash with MSM journalists who are employed by the establishment to deliver designed messages...not content with this propaganda, most of them now have their own blogs. So you get the basic message when you read your newspaper, or watch tv news, but if YOU aren`t happy with this limited information, you are encouraged to visit X blog where you will get further in-depth insight, sure.

The establishment is very worried about online information and thought. And while they daren`t stop (at the moment) many of the alternative news/conspiracy sites, they are hell bent on limiting the growing number of defectors. I should add, that the formulation of "conspiracy theories" is encouraged by the establishment, because they know that upwards of 80% of the public will switch off the moment they hear the words "CONSPIRACY THEORY". The system can cope with a small number of free thinkers. I am not in the business of lecturing anyone who might read this blog, but I do hope it will allow readers to view their world from another perspective and if you find this blog to be interesting, thought provoking, please tell others.

I have called this blog "HAL 9000" after the intelligent computer in the film "2001 Space Odyssey". HAL is one of the all time great fictional bad guys and the plot is a great conspiracy and has nice touches, such as lip-reading....spying on the crew which has parallels with todays BIG BROTHER society. In the French version of the film, HAL is called "Carl", which is my first name.
